Retirement Savings Program
Perkins&Will is committed to helping you reach an important goal - personal financial security, especially at retirement. An important part of your financial security comes from the personal savings you accumulate in addition to social security benefits. Our retirement plan offers you a method of accumulating personal savings that gives you valuable tax advantages now and at retirement.
This Plan allows you to contribute anywhere from 1% to 100% of your annual compensation towards investment options that meet your profile. For 2025, these contributions cannot exceed $23,500. The money is deposited into your account before any federal and state income taxes have been withheld. In addition, the firm may make matching contributions
based on a percentage of your own pre-tax contributions. This percentage is determined annually by the firm. If you contribute at least 6% of your salary, Perkins&Will will contribute an additional 4% of your salary to the Plan. In other words, the firm will match* 67% of your contribution up to 6% of your deferral until you reach the annual contribution limit of $23,500.
Participants 50 years of age and older (including those who will reach age 50 in the 2025 calendar year) may make catch-up contributions to the Plan. These contributions cannot exceed $7,500 in the 2025 calendar year. Participants ages 60 through 63 can contribute an additional 50% of the regular catch-up contribution limit, for a total of $11,250 in 2025
